Real-time PCR quantifies specific DNA sequences in mixed samples by measuring the increase in fluorescence during DNA amplification by PCR. The system features the LightCycler® 480 Instrument, a versatile, plate-based real-time PCR device that supports mono- or multicolour applications and multiplex protocols.
