New nanofiber wound dressings developed by the NanoEnviCz team at the Faculty of Science at J.E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem in cooperation with NanoMedical Ltd are ready for production in the company NanoMedical in Liberec. Nanofibers from gelling biopolymers bring a new, higher level of care in wound healing and, most importantly, an increase and acceleration of healing. The structure of nanofibers also effectively prevents the penetration of microorganisms into the damaged skin in open wounds.
