On Monday, September 8, 2025, students visited two prestigious sites at the University of Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem, at the Environmental Faculty and the Faculty of Science. They had an opportunity to prepare a polymer nanofiber membrane by novelelectrospinning technology patented at the UJEP.

workshop 1: "Polymer nanofiber membrane prepared by electrospinning technology" at  Faculty of Science, UJEP - Students were introduced to the electrospinning technology. They prepared nanofibrous materials from polymer solutions and  their subsequent treatment and use was shown.

workshop 2:"Measurement of heavy metal content in contaminated soils using ICP-MS" at the Environmental Faculty, UJEP - The participants prepared the real samples from contaminated soils and performed qualitative and quantitative analysis of heavy metals.
